Converting GoPro Hero 3 Black 45mb/s to Pro Res

Do you know the best way of converting 2.7k 45mb/s footage to Pro Res to use with Final Cut 7? Currently, I have Pavtube and Emicsoft converters but they do not convert to a mb/s greater than 24mb/s. I asked them about this and they said the codec stop them going above that, which I found strange. However, I need to keep the footage at 45mb/s for better quality for broadcast. Can you recommend a way I can do this? Thanks

I thought GoPro acquired Cineform for exactly this kind if purpose - near lossless PC/Mac agnostic intermediate codec, free for transcoding GoPro footage?

I would use Apple Compressor. If you have FCP7, you already have Compressor.
