Converting 16mm film and Super 8 film to pro res files

I wonder if anyone can suggest a good place to send some film for conversion to pro res and .avi files. I just came across b&w 16mm footage from 1965 that I'd like to convert as soon as possible. Also I'd like to convert some color Super 8 from the '70s and '80s. I heard something called "wetgate" is the best conversion process for these. I've recently tried some fairly low-budget places but they both seemed to have problems with lack of color saturation and poor contrast, even though the pro res files worked great in my FCP7.

Any thoughts appreciated!

Thanks, Noah. Have you tried these guys? I've been to their website before -- I felt dubious because I searched it for 15 minutes and couldn't find anything about transferral of old 16mm footage. Even if they do it, they don't seem to specialize in it...

I can't vouch for it, but these guys seem pretty cool. Their really trying to keep film viable. If I had the scratch to burn some film, I'd certainly be willing to give them a try. Seems like they've installed an archival grade scanner. I'm sure it's not cheap, but if you're looking for quality...
