Hello,
i need to send my short film to a festival , the festival's jury requires mini-Dv, Beta SP or Digi-Beta Tape format.

the movie was Shot on a Canon HV30, NTSC, 24P, 4:3 .
I am editing on After effects & there are 2 video files in my project
1st file: Avi, resolution: 1440x1080, Frame Rate: 23,97 fps (square pixel: 1,0), Separating (Upper/PE).
2nd File: Quicktime, resolution: 1440x1080, Frame Rate: 23,97 fps (square pixel: 1,0),

I would need to know
- which file format should i use for the final rendering? (AVI, MPEG2. QUICKTIME...?)
- which Tape format should i choose ?
- How to do the conversion and with which settings?

The Deadlines are approaching!..,any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks a lot

Beta SP is analogue, and you'd need a pricy deck (you can probably rent though) to output. Same for digibeta.

I'm not sure if the HV30 can record DV, my guess is that it's limited to HDV. You should use Premiere to export to tape though, it'd be easier.
