Anyone know of a cheap way to get some Beta footage converted to Mini DV? Local places seem to want upwards of $1 per minute plus tape stock (and they charge $30 for a 40-minute Mini-DV tape!).
Any internet/mail-order places that could do better than this?
Yeah, maybe that would be better. Stupid question -- beta sp is analog, right? So do most decks just have standard component or composite outputs? Any decks that do a hardware DV conversion and output firewire? Just curious. Thanks!
