Control Room

With all the talk about Michael Moore and Fahrenheit 9/11, I thought I'd bring up Control Room http://www.controlroommovie.com/. Has anyone seen it? It's showing at a smaller theater near where I live and I want to try to catch it. It's a documentary about the media coverage of teh early days of the Iraq war and explores both the Western media and Aljazeera. It's gotten great reviews. 97% positive on rottentomatoes.com. If any of you have seen it, I'd liek to hear your thoughts.

Re: Control Room

Great movie. And a terrific complement to Fahrenheit 9/11 in the sense that some of the points do overlap.

It's much more subtle, and palatable, in nature and will be easier for audiences to digest and talk about. Not as entertaining perhaps, but a good solid piece of work.

Re: Control Room

I'll probably have to check it out on DVD. The showtimes in my area conflict with my soccer league. I'm hoping one of the other smaller theaters will pick it up. I really wish these art house theaters would consult my soccer schedule before they schedule showtimes. That's one of the advantages of bigger movies at the multiplexes. I know I'll have no problem finding a showing of Spider-Man 2 that'll fit my schedule.
