Contract help

So I had a client write up a contract. A few points concern me as I feel this was not written by any legal consul on their end either.

1.) In the contract they ask that we agree that the animation will be similar in likeness and quality to another recent advertisement animation. Then go on to say that we can not violate intellectual property rights...they are the ones providing us with storyboard and scripts. We make the elements and are scoring the track.

2.) I estimated 4-6 weeks to completion. They acknowledged this but also say that this can be extended if they have issues and want to make changes.

3.) They ask for a developed timeline within 6 business days. (I have no problem with this)

4.) What is nice is that they estimate in the contract the length of the animation. 45-60 seconds. (I do not want to make this drag out if at all possible. I want to do good work for my client, I want them to be happy with my product and I want them to come back to me) But, I also know that if they want a 45-60 second animation I could invoice them for anything over that one minute.

Big Q:

I am independent. I am not LLC at least I will not be until the first week of March. Do I need a release of liability from any possible damages? It is a commercial, it is a commercial that they made up, scripted and storyboarded. My team just designs, animates and scores. I dont want this to be a case where I make something they thought up, someone gets pissed off...Like the company we are trying to knock off the style from and they come after me.

Wish they taught you business in film school eh?

Thanks in advance.

Anything I should add to this?
