Contract/Disclaimer

Hello,

I can't afford a lawyer, who can??? Does anyone have or know where to get a contract or disclaimer for various video jobs from corporate to wedding, etc. i need a hook up.

You can't afford NOT to talk to a lawyer! You profile doesn't even show where on the planet you're located - can you expect a contract template someone offers you from, say, California to apply to a wedding you're shooting in Zimbabwe or a worker safety video for a mine in Brazil owned by a company headquartered in London? Anc contract for what? - your employment by the bride and groom or you hiring a second unit camera operator or a composer to create the music?

Huh? How can we spend thousands for gear, ask clients to pay professional fees but not pay biz fees to keep our fanny out of hot water? Some day this all comes back to bite us - not only the legal side but there's tons of business issues. Okay, enough for the lecture. the only time one cannot afford a lawyer is when he is pressed against the wall requiring one.
One is not required here but know that you can afford one now and should utilize those services when in need.
The generic forms provided will get ya going in this case.
