Contract advice from a business process perspective?

Hello,

Like several others in this forum, I'm seeking advice on a standard contract. We're working our way through setting up a small promotional video production firm (targeting medium-size companies and not-for-profits) in the Washington, DC area.

Ultimately, I expect I'll have an entertainment lawyer at least review a proposed contract; I have a lawyer friend who's been looking at my draft from a more general perspective.

What I'm wondering here, though, is what you all think of the contract text below from a BUSINESS perspective. Am I covering my bases? Am I getting things 'out of order'? Are my fee percentages/milestones realistic? Etc.

Thanks!
