I'm looking for some video lighting that I can use for interviews and also use to augment speedlights that I run with softboxes and umbrellas for photography. I only really need one decent continuous softbox right now, but looked at this kit:

I have good lightstands and c-stands already, so not worried about the quality of the stands, but these lights are supposed to be decent for the price provided you don't plan to travel with them a ton. Apparently they don't set up.break down as easy as some and you risk breaking them.
That being said, I'm wondering if I should just buy one better quality light and softbox to use now, that might be easier to integrate into an interview light kit when I'm ready to spring for that. If I do that, I really have no idea what to get. I just don't want to spen a lot yet because I shoot video mostly outdoors, and when I'm shooting indoors the lighting kit is usually rented.
