does anyone know if these new rules still apply if the patient is physically attractive?

Few realize that Barry Green was the first to use this technique. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that he managed to juggle between compressions.

If you do it in the wrong spot it wouldn't work. I think this actually would only work if you saw the person go down. If you walked up on someone who has been down and is not breathing then they would need a stable airway before you did chest compressions, and obviously if someone is down and unresponsive they don't need CPR if they have a pulse. They may still have a pulse but could be unconscious. I'm not saying don't try it on someone you see go down. However, if you don't have oxygen, there is no reason to give CPR (although the video says you don't need to give breaths, it's dependent on the situation). Also, if they have a pulse they don't need CPR. So I could see a lot of uniformed people watch someone bonk their head and think it's okay to do CPR because of this video. It only works in the case of a cardiac arrest.
