Loved it... great! using capitals in wierd places. Taser? I know what a taser is but why in capitals?.....

Formatting is the easiest part but not fulfilled and a downfall even on a great story like this.

Hmm, interesting. Thanks for the comments. But actually that's the way screenplays are being written now. Captalize certain actions to bring attention to them, explosions, certain actions etc.

I'd love to hear more comments on structure if anyone has them.

thanks!

JP

I have a hard time with the whole capitalizing to draw attention to things. First of all if you have to draw attention to certain things in your script then you probably have over-written it and need to take out everything that we shouldn't be paying attention to anyway. Second, as all my reader friends have told me capitalizing anything except for characters when they are first introduced really disturbs the flow of reading the action and can ruin the pacing while reading your script. Just my two cents.

Hi mrblue1022, interesting. Thanks for the comments. Would you say you were distracted from the story by the caps?

This is great feed back by the way.

thanks!

Constructive criticism is always a good thing. However, since I'm in the contest I'll withhold any critiques until it's over. JMHO.

I see what you mean... the corrrect formatting when doing this is to capitalize the entire word.. TASER instead of Taser.
