I have a shoot coming up where the client is requesting a sundial effect, basically a light source moving 180 degrees from behind the product so the shadow also moves. The issue I am running into is that the client needs the shadow to be consistent with multiple products.
The product itself is a glass which shape does not change, and we will be locked off on a tripod so the frame also does not change. We talked about having a joker or m18 on a rolling stand and moving it that way, but I am wondering what my options are for it to be more consistent. Something like a dolly track where we can mount the light on the dolly.
Any recommendations are welcome!
