Hey peeps-
So I've been using a Sennheiser wireless Lav mic setup called the 'Presentation set' that only includes a Bodypack transmitter with Lav, and then a rack mount Reciever that I connect via XLR to my camera. It's easy and works great for presentations and interviews, but not so much in the field or on location becuase the rack mount needs to be plugged in. Here is what this looks like: ( http://www.zzounds.com/item--SENEW122G2 )
To the point- To compliment this, I bought the Sennheiser 'Camera set' ( http://www.calumetphoto.com/item/SH3112.html ), but I can't get it hooked up right.. what am I doing wrong? If my talent uses the included bodypack transmitter (almost identicle to the presentation set but a longer antenna) with the included lav, I should just be able to mount the bodypack reciever and use the CL100 Cable which just goes from the reciever to the XLR input, right? I have toyed with it for a few hours today and am pulling my hair out.
I know these are pretty common entry level pro lav systems so if anyone else has these systems or are familiar, please help. My end goal is to be able to use my two sets (the presentation and camera sets) to set up lav's on two individual presentors, and record into my 2 DVX inputs, without having to buy anymore equipment.
Ideas/thoughts? :undecided
Thanks!
