Connecting the FS-100 to HVX

I'm having a bit of a problem here, it has been a few months since I used the firestore with the HVX200 and I cannot for the life of me remember how to get the camera to recognise it. I have put the settings on the Firestore into tapeless mode, Camera is on P2, no P2 card in there, and this is where I get stuck. I'm sure there's a setting somewhere that I have to switch on or something but I cannot remember what it is, and the manual doesn't say either. Any ideas?

Make sure the camera isn't in a native (PN) recording mode, the DV port doesn't send out any data in those modes.

Also make sure you use the correct port on the FS-100, the DV port is for the camera, the IEEE port is for the computer.

Go to the "other functions" menu and choose EXT or BOTH as your recording device too.

Easiest way is to go to the focusinfo.com site and look for the firestore fs-100 quickstart guide; it tells you every setting you need to set in both the cam and the fs-100 to get it to work.
