Hrm.. I order my audio technica shotgun mic and I've no idea on how to connect it to my dvx.. It didn't come with any leads. Sounds like a silly question, I know but I don't know how I might connect it to the dvx..

If it's an XLR mic then you need an XLR cable. Are you in the USA? What part?

If you just want to get your mic going so you can play with it then you can get an XLR cable at any music store... but your BEST bet would be to get a Remote Audio XLR mic cable from www.trewaudio.com

This way you get the very best cable(s) made... Canare StarQuad... and it won't be hardly any more then a cheap cable! This is one place to avoid trying to save $5-$10. (Depending on cable length)

CLICK here for a 25' Remote Audio XLR

If you plan to boom you'll want 25'... for on-cam you only want 1-1.5"... and eventually you'll want a mix.

Yep... I gotta' strait 18" XLR that was my previous favorite for my on-cam cable... but I think I'm gonna' buy one of these too. It looks nice and tidy.
