connecting a computer to a projector?

I am hoping to mount a video projector onto a ceiling beam 20 feet off the ground, and project onto a screen. I need to control the projection with a Mac laptop by playing a quicktime file through it. How can I do this and not have to use an enormously long cable hooked between the computer and projector? Is there a wireless solution?

I'm not sure how much cheaper the wireless solutions are than the one above.

there are devices that can do long vga runs over ethernet as well, but they're also quite expensive. I'll post back if I remember where I've seen them.

VGA can have a longer run that DVI without the need for a repeater.
