Hey guys. I am doing a short with two dvx100's. How can I connect two cameras to one mic? Is there a special XLR Cord? Or do I just have to do it all in post. Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Kris :)

I'm sure there is an xlr cord splitter, or you could just use a mixer with dual outputs. However, I have to ask, why do you need both cameras to have the exact same audio. When you are mixing this later I cannot find any reason that both cameras would need the same audio, unless you feel that you will have trouble lining up the audio with video from the two cameras. If this is the case, I can assure you, there are easier ways to do this than to have one mic for two cameras. Seem's like kind of a hassle, what if you want both cameras to be shooting opposing angles, you might get into a tug of war with the other dp.
