Connect CD player to phone?

I need to connect a CD player to my Dad's phone. He's hosting an audio program where he plays a half hour business audio program over his touchtone phone. How could I connect the two?
 
Belkin makes a telephone handset tap that I picked up at the Business Depot for $12. It conects in-line with a telephone handset, and allows you to either record the conversation or play a recording over the line using a mono 1/8" jack. If you're just playing a CD over the phone tine, this ought to do the trick.
 
If you want to do it with proper connections (i.e. RCA and XLR) JK Audio makes a product called THAT-2 which I'm currently using to record telephone-based sales training sessions, but it also has the option to send audio to the phone from an outside source. So far it has been excellent for me.
