Confused about 24P Timeline!!!

I have been reading the past posts and can't find the answer to my question. I have recorded footage in 24pa that I would like to transfer to film. I use the "NTSC DV 24p Widescreen (720x480, 23.976 fps)" template to edit the footage. However, when I right click on the timeline, the setting is "SMPTE Non-Drop (29.97 fps, video)" Shouldn't it be "SMPTE Film Sync ( IVTC 23.976 fps, Video)" or "SMPTE Film Sync (24 fps, film)?" I'm confused which to set the timeline in and why the preset didn't set it for me.

Thanks David. Should I change it to "SMPTE Film Sync ( IVTC 23.976 fps, Video)" or "SMPTE Film Sync (24 fps, film)?"
