HELLO Mac Folks
I am finaly in a postion to start my editing project on a ufo documentary .I have some questions about my post production equipment .
SET UP : with a Mac power book g4 1.5 mgz 1 gig ram and tiger os 10.4 ,I am using final cut pro 5 .
The material is mini dv footage(stadard definition) shot with the dvx100a about six hours worth .
THE STOREAGE AND EXTERNAL DRIVE IS A SEAGATE 300 GIG DRIVE (TWO TOTAL
FOR 600 GIGS .
ALSO FOR THE TRANSFERR I HAVE A PANASONIC AGDV 2500 DECK .
MY END PRODUCT IS A DVD FOR DIRECT SALE AND A SMALL HOPE FOR CABLE BROADCAST DUE TO THE FACT THIS IS SD NOT HI DEF VID.
I was reading the agdv2500 manual BY PANASONIC last night and there appears to be yet another box or converter which i am missing .
So with all the above ,
Question
Is this a good portable classic editing set ready to go or have I missed something .
Thanks for any help
Bruce
