Just saw this on Starz the other night (my new digs has HDTV, All the channels, etc)

Wow - I thought it was amazing - I don't know why I kept hearing all that bad **** about it having a weak story. Story was the strongest part (should be anyways) of the film in and of itself. I loved the cinematography and I really liked the way it was edited, and I like the color correction and well ****it I liked the whole damn thing.

Was this Clooney's directorial debut?

yep, clooney's first. I really liked it too, i mean, i havnt seen it since, but after hearing all the bad stuff i was deffinalty pleasently surprised. Renforces Kaufman as one of our best writters and Rockwell as one of my favorite actors.
