I thought i shud post this in fcp section cause it has the most relation, but how do i use it? is there a tutorial site? or a link on here that shows u how to export movies?

Select your clip or sequence in FCP and then click File-Export-Export Using Compressor and it will send your file(s) to compressor. You apply the conversion you want to the file (H.264, MPEG-2 etc.) and then submit. You can also drag and drop files into Compressor from finder. Definitely check out the manual for more details.

but where does it go when its dun exporting

if the destination was set to "Source", then open a finder window and click on the system drive on the left column... it'll be there.

Its $20. If you're going to be always going to DVD (for at least part of your workflow) on projects, and you don't buy anything else, at least buy this guy.
