Compressor stretching text

I have some two-line text I added in FCP along the lines of: Jeff B. / Customer

The text exports correctly in MPEG-2, but for some reason when I export at 640x360 for YouTube 16:9, the text gets stretched vertically.

The image itself is fine! It comes from 16:9 source material.

Confused on this one.

Thanks for your help.

it's an annoying bug. the only way i've been able to get around it is to export the cut as a full res quicktime in its native codec. then, import that file into compressor to make the 640x360 file from that.

That does the trick. Thanks.

There's a problem introduced in that extra step of exporting the sequence to a QT file before moving to Compressor:

There's a slim 1px line of video noise across the top which appears green on my screen.

Any advice on how to eliminate or mitigate its presence? I'm picky, so I notice it. Not sure how noticeable it is to others.
