Compressor Stopped Working, Any Alternatives?

Hey guys, I had to re-install my Final Cut Pro Studio software, everything works fine except for Compressor. It won't launch at all, really weird.

Are there any alternatives out there I can use to get the footage down in file size? I've heard of Sorenson Squeeze, anyone else know of any?

Are you sure you have the latest version?

I had to reinstall FCS2 after installing Leopard and Compressor wouldn't work until I updated it to 3.0.2 Once I did that, it worked just fine.
