http://panasonic.ca/english/audiovideo/camerascamcorders/camcorder/HDCSD5.asp

i have yet to shoot and HD footage and im curious what you guys use in the way of settings in compressor? i want to get as much quality out of the footage, reasonable file size and about 600-700 wide. it will be streamed off the web.

i am using the newest final cut studio.

any help would be really appreciated.

Use one of the web presets.

All about testing to taste!!

I could tell you what I use, but then you might come back and say it sucks. So why not just test it yourself.

Good luck,

Seems like a good way to go would be h.264.
It's small and looks great. The new Flash supports it,
and YouTube will be switching over.

General tips: make sure both height and width are evenly divisible by 8,
crush your blacks in color correction if possible, try using a lower framerate,
like 16fps.

And pay attention to what the good Captain says:
experiment and choose for yourself.

Looks like a cool camera,
Les
