Hey guys,
Hope you all had a great holiday.
So here's the problem. I've shot on the HVX at 720 and outputted it from final cut as "Current Settings" quicktime and it looks great.
When I drag it into compressor and try to take it down to an Mpeg, it always looks grainy. I've tried Best encode 16:9 and fast 16:9 but both are pretty horrific. I used to use a PC and it never looked this bad on the output but a buudy of mine who uses the MAC said thats just the way downsampling works. Can't be true.
Is there a really good workflow anyone has that can go through the settings and show me just how to get the Best possible compression for a 45 minute video shot at 720pn 24fps on the HVX?
Thanks, this is killing me
Oh, anyone want to check out a commercial I did on the HVX it's here, lemme know what you think
