compressor help

Hi guys,

Compressor is taking 3 hrs to finish a 15min SD sequence. I chose fastest encode and it's still this long? Is there another way I can get my video into dvdsp w/o using compressor?

You can encode with DVD Studio, but if compressor is not working right it could effect DVD studio or even Quicktime as they all use the same background processes. Also double check your master file. I have accidentally left a .jpg at 2 hours on 15 minute timeline and had the same issues. The 100 minutes of black was all I needed to never do that again.
 
Like KGIMEDIA says, you can just encode using DVD Studio Pro. I'm assuming you are using Final Cut Pro, in which case you'd just export a FCP Quicktime Movie. Then you can just drag and drop that file into your DVD Studio Pro project, just make sure you set the settings right (16x9, etc.) and it'll encode just fine.
