Are some of the filters necessary to use especially If I am using some of the same filters within my FCP HD project? Filters like color correction, brightness & contrast, letterbox. If my projects already have these, I don't have to add them again in Compressor right?
How long does something take to transcode? I am using a G5. I have about 9 small projects to go onto one DVD that are between 2 minutes and 10 minutes each.
Lastly, is there a way to preview my footage in Compressor using an external monitor instead of the preview window on my computer screen?
