Compressor and Moving Titles

I send my 29.97 project from fcp to compressor. I have titles made in fcp that I used. I shot in 30p on a DVX100B. In compressor I am going to H.264 and everything looks great. Titles are crisp, the picture looks good. BUT I have one moving title, that fly's across the screen. It is horrible looking. It looks super interlaced...so I use the de-interlace function in compressor. That fixes that title, but everything else looks a little less crisp.

How can I fix the moving title and still keep the quality of the rest of the video?

The problem isn't compressor, it's your sequence setting in FCP. While you do have 30p footage, FCP defaults to 60i for DV projects - so you must change your field dominance to none/progressive (I forget how FCP labels it) in you sequence settings. This will force it to render transitions, titles, etc, as progressive.

Ahh now I compressed, with compressor. IT says it is in 16:9 when I'm compressing but when I opened the file, it's in 4:3. What did I do or not do?
