Compressor 3 not working

I just received my final cut studio2 update, installed everything did the updates and now compressor just keeps on crashing when i open it. Any idea why???

Have you run Software Update? I found the patch to Compressor 3 to fix just about all the problems I had with it.

I reinstaled everything but not luck. Its not working. What a good way to spend 600$ and you software is crashing!!!

Updates didn't work, so let's walk through it. Does it crash with an error message? Are you opening it as a seperate program? Does it still crash if you try sending something to Comrpessor from FCP? The more details the more people can do to help.

it crashes if i try to open or send something from final cut and it says quit unexpetedly, and im wating on the phone for appel for 1h!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its weird its saying that i have compressor 3 but i cant install 3.0.1 cause it says that my computer dont need it??

Install Developer Tools and go to:
Macintosh HD > Developer > Applications > Utilities > CrashReporterPrefs

Change the setting to Developer. Then post a screenshot of the error message.

You can get Developer Tools for free by registering here, but I've attached the application if you don't wish to go through that.

I deleted some files and then reinstalled compressor.

Find and delete the following files:
