Compression Trouble

[otari_99]

Hello,

I have a 500meg file that I compressed to 80meg for upload. It was uploaded to Google Video, but it looked like cr#p. I presume that Google compresses as needed to accommodate their massive library. Are there sites that don't compress? Is there something I can do to insure a better quality upload?

Thanks.

host on your own website - I've used blip.tv with success but it still compresses.

What was your file type and size?

Thanks.
