Compression settings advice perleeaaase!

Hi I just shot rushes in HD 1080p which I've edited in Final Cut Express and now I'm trying to export, for editing in 1080i.

Can someone please shed some light on what compression settings to use? I'm having problems with it being cropped and squashed.

The codec I've been asked to use is Apple Prores (422) HQ. That's fine, but what size setting do I need to stop it being altered?

1080p to 1080i ?


Seems like you have a lot of missing information here. If you export a 1920x1080 file whether it's p or i it will be the same dimension. Now why in the world or how in the world you would make a progressive signal an interlace one is the real question here.....
 
Are you absolutely sure you need to convert from (1080P) progressive to (1080i) interlaced? (which is very odd) Or is it you just need to deliver in 1080?
