i wanna post some files but there always too huge.

for exmple a minute worth of Avi file is 141Megs

and ive lower the bit rate down ALOT!

The top compression programs are Sorenson and Cleaner. I've personally only used Cleaner, and I like it alot. However, if I were going to buy a new program right now, I would probably opt for Sorenson.

What NLE are you using? You should be able to get your files smaller than that fairly easily through your NLE.

im using PP1.5

and it also comes with student discount, which cleaner does not offer.

but if i can use my NLE to compress my videos that would be even better. can someone skool me on this ???

I use PPro 1.5 as well. So you're in good company.

Use the Adobe Media Encoder (File> Export> Adobe Media Encoder) and just play around with presets and settings. The Quicktime one works pretty well, and most people around here prefer to watch .mov's to .avi's.

Put your video in your timeline. Go to File> Export> Adobe Media Encoder...

Then just select your preset from the pull down menu. Try "QT 256k streaming NTSC"
