compression color problem? help...

im shooting on a hvx200a, after bringing my clips into Cs3 and editing them i then compress them and put them onto vimeo. My problem is the color seems to change from the original footage to the vimeo look.... The color looks much more flat you could say.

Has this happened to anyone?

Is there anything i could do about this?

well i still see other peoples footage with great colors and what not.... is there anything i can do about this?
