Compressing

I'm going to be eating dinner tonight... what should I have?

How many megs per minute can you stand?

How big a video do you want?

If you use (as I do...) File - Export - QT Conversion - Broadband High --- you'll get wonderful looking video at about 3megs a minute. That ok? People WILL need QT7 to watch your stuff though. So -- is that an issue too?

Ok sorry thats my bad I was in a hurry when i posted that. So this is what i need So I have a whole bunch of video that will be going on the internet that i will be converting into Flash but as of right now they are approximately 9 minutes long and 90megs I need to get the size down without jepordizing the quality any ideas of what I should use and at what settings?

Not a good advice if you want to deliver .flv -;)
Sorenson squeeze makes the nicest results I've seen.

Not free -;((

ffmpegx is supposed to do the trick as well.

I never made that app do anything worthwhile for me.

You could of course buy FlashPro.

For now:
Go for "Export with quicktime conversions" h.264

set size @ resonable
Remember to compress audio!!!
A qualitysetting between middle and good gives quite decent results
