Hi. Apologies in advance if this question has been addressed somewhere else already. (If you can point me to the place, I'd be very grateful).
I'm having problems compressing audio -- the final DVD won't play on the computer.
Here's what I did:
1) Exported a QuickTime movie (no conversion) from Final Cut.
2) Started DVD Studio Pro and imported the QuickTime file (because I don't know how else to get separate video and audio files out of Final Cut).
3) Using Compressor, converted the AIFF file that DVD Studio Pro created for me into a Dolby 2.0 file and deleted the original AIFF file.
4) Went back to DVD Studio Pro and did my build and format operation.
The resulting DVD plays on my set-top Sony DVD player, but not in the computer.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
