Compressed air

Im going to be shooting a short film soon, and was going to use the compressed air method for the gunshots. I went to walmart and all they had was this cheap-o looking plastic pump. I may just get one from Ace hardware.

So I just wanted to know what kind of pump spray (brand) you've all used. Any recomendations, or it doesn't really matter?

I think the cheapest way to go is to get about 10ft of clear plastic tubing, plug one end, cut a hole not far from the plug, fill the hole with a bit of sponge, dump your blood in. Then have someone blow really hard into the other end. It may sound simple and stupid, but it really works.
