So I started a project in FCP 7 last year and now i'm getting around to finish the edit. I'm about 50% completed. Ideally, I would like to edit it in Premiere because that's where I'm doing most of my editing now, and I can use MB Looks (which I don't have in FCP). But this switch has been tough. I also went through and sync'd the audio of all my clips, a solid days worth of work ! And on top of that, all my sync'd files are in a FCP Sequence File.
And just to make it more complex, all the files are on an external drive ! I now want to transfer them over to my new computer and edit them internally ( i have two HD's in my new comp ) .
So basically my question is how do I take my files that are on an Ext Drive, within a FCP 7 file and move them to my desktop and open ( and sync'd!) in Premiere. Thanks !!!!
