How do you guys compenaste for the kind of muddy look the 32bit mode lends to footage? just, boost it up till looks good or is there some high end techinchal export setting i should be made aware of?

Muddy look? Maybe someone needs to explain to me the benefit of 32bit. Was this something you captured in something other than Vegas 8? Is it HD or SD footage? Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

it makes everything look oversaturated and dark... but its supossed the be better, im just wondering how to utilize its benefits.

Forget "Iron Chef" I'm watching "Iron Moderator." Just kidding!:Drogar-Happy(DBG):

I think the benefit of 32 bit is that you can have more control of the footage and how is pushed -- i.e. greenscreen. Some people have said that 32 bit makes their footage a little darker. Maybe that's what he's talking about.

So far, I've liked it a lot.

I think the biggest thing to remember is not to overdo it. Your controls have a lot more effect in 32-bit than they do in 8-bit, so if you have saved presets, etc., they're not going to behave the same way.

ahhh.

This be good advice david. I dialed everything back a hair and it looks better. its just that everything takes MB editors, like time to render.
