I'm taking Photography 101 this semester and we're required to shoot with a 35mm camera right. So this is my question next semester when I take Digital Photography can I use the lenses I purchased for my nikon N80 with my nikon D80? or is that not possible because one is digital and the other is not?

I plan on buying a N80 and then buying a D80, I still havent purchased either, i'm waiting to hear if this is a good idea or not.

First, do a search, you don't need to continue to start new threads for every single question you have. Normally a quick search through the DVXUser database or by typing your question into google will yield the answers. Continuing to post questions without showing any initiative of your own to find answers sort of conveys a message that you are lazy.

Now onto the answers.

An AF (auto-focus) lens from Nikon will work on any Nikon body (except for the D40 & D40x). This means that if you purchase an AF 35mm camera you can use a lens for this camera on the D80.

AIS and AI are terms you should search and learn what they mean.
Also look into crop factor and learn what the difference is between a 1.5x crop camera and a 35mm camera.

Seek and you shall find your answers.
