What I need specifically is a chart showing the equivilancys(sp?) between 35mm and Video lens-especially when the video lens is descibed in terms of "X"(eg-16X lens).
Any and all help appreciated!

Well, it doesn't quite work that way.
You need to specify what format video you're shooting with: the different sizes of the CCD's will yield different fields of view using the same glass. Common video CCD sizes include 1/6", 1/4", 1/3", 1/2" and 2/3".
Then you have to specify when you say 35mm, do you mean 35mm still cameras, or 35mm movie cameras? A 35mm still camera has a frame of 36mm x 24mm, whereas a 35mm movie camera uses half that frame: 24mm x 18mm. Obviously the field of view will be very different.
Then when you say 16x, that's something that just can't be applied. You need to know the exact focal length. For example, the DVX100 uses a 10x zoom, which is 4.5 to 45mm. On my 16mm camera I also have a 10x zoom, which is 10mm - 100mm. A typical 10x zoom on a 35mm movie camera would be 25mm - 250mm. So you can't just say "a 16x zoom" without saying what the base focal length is. For example, a 16x zoom that has a minimum focal length of 10mm would have a total focal length range of 10mm-160mm.
