After years of reviewing Panasonic ac160 130 90 products, have they been successful? Strengths, overall quality and...

Does anyone have an opinion about Panasonic's AC brothers? No things?

Well, I'll start, these cameras are the same, one of them has no sdi output, one hasnot headphone hole, the last one is ag90, the sensor is reduced to 1/4!!! :2vrolijk_08:

This forum has slowed down a LOT in the last few months. I don't think there have been more than a couple of posts in this section in the last 12 months. Also these are old cameras. The AC90A stopped over 5 years ago? So you may not get (m)any responses.

I have a couple of AC90s and I like them. I used them for corporate work at 1080p 25 or 50fps Though I run them with V-lock batteries a lot of the time. The only thing missing for me is time-code which is useful for some jobs.

Thank you, the fact that the forum is slow is not a bad thing, I'm glad that people are less connected to the Internet, because getting used to and taking refuge in the Internet is bad for some, it's much worse, well, it shows that people are busy with important things, I hope this trend continue and reduce the harmful attraction of sites for people.

Also interesting about your post, many AG ACs do you have, I'm only interested in old (and discontinued) cameras and not new cameras, cameras like the AF100 and ex3 and ... are great cameras for me, I noticed that ac130 and ac 160 seem to be the same hpx250 camera in terms of body, lens and even sensor, but their codecs are limited to 24 and 28mbps, of course, there are bugs reported in both models!

I don't really know much about ac90, because it has less than 130 features, but its owners are from it.

I think it is more a case of people using other forums. This one has been running almost 20 years. The vast majority of people on this forum are/were people who were out and about a lot, making films. OK, some of the Editors might live in basements for weeks on end not seeing the sunlight, but they are allowed out when they finish the edit. :)

There was a discussion in another thread on here that the number of posts seem to have dropped 90% which is a pity. It was a good community. This section of the forum hasn't had any new threads in a year. And only 2 or three replies in a year. Other sections don't seem to have much life in them either now/. :-(
I was lucky as I discovered it just as I started film making I had a different account back then.

This forum tends to be for working filmmakers, so they tend to be mainly on current cameras. I am not sure that you will get much of any discussion.

Yes, it's a good thing, for example if someone wants to read something about their hpx170, they will find the most content here... But all good things have costs, this is what my experience says, almost all harmful things usually have a good thing to trap a person... There are many good things in the world and there are more than that, and people are in a trade-off. It is always selling and buying, a business! Everything that is good in one direction and causes destruction in other directions...

I realized that there are sensitive and intelligent people on this site, who visit it very aimlessly, by reading the texts and the prevailing differences and similarities that I have not yet discovered, I know that everywhere everything is useful for some, useless for some, and harmful for some.
