Compare Senn MKH60 and MKH416

I am having a hard time deciding between these two mics.
I have read that the MKH60 is a newer version of the old reliable MKH416. I have seen the MKH416 in action, but I have not been able to experiment with it first hand. My question is - can I use the MKH60 in place of the MKH416.
Or is the MKH60 a much different mic? I do like the fact that the MKH60 has a low cut switch. I don't think the MKH416 has one? Has anyone used both of these and can give a good comparison?

I would go for the MKH 60 altough it is somewhat more expensive than the MKH416.
The MKH 60 produces superb sound and is a frequent choice of the audio people at
top notch (and top dollar) productions.

Personally, I like the 60 better. I really don't like the 416 for interiors at all. For me, the only really nice things about the 416 are it's size and durability.

You may also want to check out the Sanken CS3e or CS-1 as well.

Thanks Guys,
Your response is very helpful.
Thanks Oleg for that link. That realy did explain the difference between the two mics. It looks like I could use them both :P
But when I really need to single out a sound from a noise environment the 416 is the one I'll go with.
The MKH60 probly sounds a little better or rather natural but with a little bit mor area covered.
Thanks again - a big help
