How did it turn out Doctor J ?

Hey there! Unfortunately, I'm still waiting to head up there to test the footage. They had a puck go through the video board and had to replace it. On Monday, I'll be going in to check the footage and I will definitely give you an update and see where to go from there!

Just got back from Arena.

This setup seemed to work best. I just made all kinds of DVD's to take up there.

- I edited on my Vegas timeline at 1280x720, raw avchd files. Rendered out at 352x160, 16:9, DVD Output Type, Lower Field First field order. The other DVD's didn't play. I didn't save them as DVD output type. They have an old SAMSUNG DVD player they use.

Wouldn't putting it in Non-Progressive look better instead of Lower Field First?

Maybe, maybe not - it's a total guess as to how (and how often) their custom hardware refreshes the scoreboard screen after converting the video signal from the DVD player.

But now that you have the output resolution sorted out (I presume you have no cropping/letterboxing issues?), by all means do a few more test discs with different field orders etc, if they're happy to let you try them out - just don't be surprised if the different options make no visible difference...
