Commercial advice

Film trained DP here not used to commercial video shoots... I'll be shooting a regional commercial for a store chain in a couple of weeks with a new 100A at 24P. (as much film look as possible)

I'm hoping some experienced videographers, that have done this type of work before, could advise on any issues with quality when doing this type of shoot. Any conversion advice when I have the guys convert my FCP edited miniDV to Beatcam/Digibeta (whatever they ask for)?

Any other common issues that come up? Anything definately not to do?

I really need to set this shoot apart from the in-house CRAP these cable and local affiliate guys do! You know that look... flat as can be with one soft light beside the camera for everything, no movement, bad sound, (always too rough/loud in the final.. why?) etc. ::)

Thanks a bunch!
