comments/suggestions on Logo

Hey!

Nice job. I liked it. What aren't you sure about?

It flows nicely, you can read the name...maybe hold a little longer when the full company name comes up.

But I liked it.

Very nice. Curious why you don't have the blue start from the bottom. Same as a flood. Other than that it's very good.

That was a good catch guys, I suspect if you leave it like it is a lot of people would eventually make the same comments about the water direction.

pk- very nice suggestion, i'll think i'm going to take you up on that one.

amerikan- I'm not sure how they made the actual logo- they just sent me an .eps file and I did the rest in vegas 5.

looks nice.

how about this. instead of already having the "F" and the rings around falling...what if it were just a solid dot that is moving away from us, sorta like you have, then it lands, like a water drop hitting the surface of water, and it sends out concentric circles and flashes on the "F"...then continue on with the way the logo is now.

just a thought...would make more sense to me if it was a more graphic representation of a water drop revealing the logo sorta deal...

anywhoo.....looks nice dude, like others have said, i would change the direction of the blue wipe.

sounds like my original plan...I just don't know how to do it.
Originally I wanted an opening shot of a leaf with a drop of water, the drop falls, the camera follows it down to a body of water, the drop hits the water, creating a ripple, and the F logo appears from it, then fades in with the FLood films logo.
