Comment folder not transfering to Bin, Please Help!!

Recently I started a project in FCP 5 and I have started to incurr a few problems. I have 6 seperate quicktime files and from which I have seperated them into individual clips with markers and commments. The problem I'm getting is that when I try to drag them into a bin to make them into subclips, the comments are no longer there.

Anyone have any idea whats going on here...
 
How exactly are you creating your subclips?

I just did a quick test here. I have a 40 min clip. I load it into my Viewer. I put in a bunch of markers and give them their own names and descriptions. I mark my in and outs around the marker(s) and then use Apple U. Voila, subclips w/ markers and the markers maintain the information I put into them in the first part of the process.

By the way, just an fyi, FCP isn't known to be the happiest camper with Subclips. When time comes for exports, EDLs, and so on, you might run into some "fun." Personally I'd take the time to do a more detailed log and capture in the first place, break it up that way.

huh, I was doing just about the same thing with the exception of the in and out points. But I just tried adding in and out points to the markered clips and no luck. Any other suggestions?
