Hey guys, looking for advice. There's a sizeable storm heading towards San Diego. My first day of shooting, on the 5th is on a "Western" set in Jamul, 30 minutes outside of San Diego. Just checked weather and I only get a ten day forecast, which showed the 5th as lotsa rain.
This particular set is far from rain proof and we'd have to cancel or troubleshoot. Two questions...
Anyone have a link to weather going past a ten day forecast? What have you guys done in the past when forced to shoot in the rain? These are interiors the first week, but these are old school 1800's sets, with several openings in log cabins and all around exposed sets.
I was thinking of just tarping the whole damn set, but I'm still worried about exposure to electrical, etc. We have a sizeable lighting package.
Thanks, now go do some anti-rain dances for me...
