Comer CM-LBPS1800 Not Bad for a Single Interview Light

The only light I own (I rent depending on the type of shoot) pulled off a decent shot last night with a last minute interview. The Comer CM-LBPS1800. Could've used a reflector but I don't even own a darn C-stand or have an assistant available. Again, just a quick little ENG type setup on a last minute interview. Light was attached to an el-cheapo Wal-Mart tripod with the plate-coldshoe that comes in the Deluxe kit.

Just thought I'd share.

Not bad, only critique is the shadow of the lamp and lampshade on the wall. Throws off the illusion of a practical light. But for last minute, single light, walmart c-stand looks good. You got the details in the dark skin without blowing out the white shirt.

Looks good. Hard shadows, one source, great exposure, shows what can be done with no refinements.

Thanks for the critique guys. I was real happy with the results all things considered. I just wish I had seen that lamp shadow before we started rolling. The Comer has a barndoor which probably would have been good enough to flag that shadow off.
