I set up an IRC chat for dvxuser.com members to hang out in and chat, whether it's about the Panisonc awesomely mindblowing cameras, or editing, scripting, whatever, I just wanted a fun place to chill with other members in realtime. I have quite a few on my MSN and I really enjoy talking to them. I think we could all probably benefit from having a chat. This is by no means meant to replace this site, as it will be the basis for most of the discussions.
If you are interested in this very easy process, there are two ways to come chat.
If you come, PLEASE, PLEASE, idle. Even if no one is chatting hang around and eventually it will happen. Don't come, get no replies and just leave, that's just no fun.
Browser
http://www.desktopgamer.com/dvxjavachat/SimpleApplet.html
That will sign you onto the IRC network and give you a username like DVXUser##, with the ## being replaced by a random number.
Tada, you are now online!
Detailed commands are available on the browser chat page.
IRC Chat Program
Head to http://www.mirc.com
Download mIRC.
Go to server irc.zirc.net by typing /server irc.zirc.net
Join channel #dvxuser by typing /join #dvxuser
Wallah!
Once in, talk to MatthewC for details on registering your nickname. I will be idling. Also, I am looking for ops.
